Museum records indicate that this fired canister plate was found at Gettysburg. The ¼" circular iron plate meas. 4" in diameter making it the base iron plate. During the initial discharge force from being fired the impression of the iron canister balls are clearly visible on the plate. Never cleaned the plate has a light coating of surface rust. Museum records indicate that this bullet in wood is from an oak tree from the Gettysburg Battlefield. Donated to the museum by a Mrs. Sidney O. Hartje on the 14th August 1915. This cut wood meas. 6 ½" long x 2 ¾" x 6 ¾". A solid piece of an oak tree with the bark intact. The unidentifiable bullet is centered in the upper left corner. This relic has never been cleaned and sealed. Museum records accompany this bullet in wood.

Museum records indicate that this bullet in oak wood is from Gettysburg. Near the museum inventory number are faint unreadable pencil markings. The Williams Cleaner Type I bullet is clearly visible near the center of the oak wood. Over time, two minor cracks have formed. One is near the bullet with about a 3" of the wood being very slightly loose. Rest of wood is very solid. This cut wood in the shape of a wedge meas. 7 ½" long by 4" x 6 3/8" with the outside of the bark intact. Museum records will accompany the bullet in wood.

Museum records indicate this "boat" shaped bullet in wood was from Lookout Mountain, Tennessee and was donated by Fannie K. Dunbar on 23 January 1919. Imbedded in top portion of wood is the exposed bottom of a lead bullet of which type cannot be identified. Wood fragment meas. approx. 6 ¾" x 1 ½" x 1". On top of wood fragment and underneath exposed bullet is a partial tag that reads "Lookout Mou". Another partial tag on the front of the wood reads "LOOKOUT M". Beneath that in pencil is written "LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN". Museum records will accompany this relic.
