Long artillery fuse adapter made by Parrott. The top looks like the Confederate copper adapter with a central hole for the paper time fuse and two spanner holes but this adapter has a raised “W” on the face and is made of zinc. It is believed that the “W” stands for Parrott’s foundry in West Point, New York. The base is threaded halfway and tapered. Still attached to this adapter is the original leather washer. There is also an 8 second paper time fuse included. All original.
