Complete 6-inch spherical shell with moderate to severe pitting and some surface material loss and light rust. About 10% of the original finish remains. Most of the shell is a light rusted color.  Base has deactivation hole. Top of shell has the Confederate copy of the Bormann fuse which begins with a long .5 second tick mark. The center of the fuse has also been drilled through and the fuse was cut for time showing use.

Shell was meant for use in a 6lb smoothbore gun.

This is a rare sized shell with a rare fuse.
