The body of this shell is in good cleaned condition with light to moderate pitting throughout the surface. Both the upper and lower bourrelets are easily discernable. There is some chipping along the bottom of the shell just above the sabot but nothing major. There is no fuse. The sabot is a copper ring that has a fair sized dent in it. An interesting thing about this shell is instead of a lathe dimple at bottom center there is a large cavity caused by an air bubble during casting that later broke.
Overall this is an interesting shell in good condition.
