SECTIONED 3.67-INCH 6 POUND CASE SHOT SHELL

$200.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: R20397

This 6-pound shell has been cut in half for display. At top are the threads for the Bormann fuse while down the center is the cavity for the bursting charge with some powder remaining. The cut has revealed 11 case shot balls in the cavity and the matrix that holds them in place.

This is a great piece for any general Civil War or artillery display. It is also a great piece for explaining case shot rounds to the general public or school groups.
