Shell has minimal surface rust, and light to moderate surface pitting. Iron West Point fuse cap unscrews from the nose. Iron base cup and lead sabot are both intact. A photograph of this exact shell can be found on page 80 of John Bartleson’s 1972 A field guide for Civil War Explosive Ordinance.
