A perfect non-excavated example of this scarce projectile. “HOTCHKISS PAT. OCT 9, 1855” clearly visible on the iron cup base. Lead sabot intact, with minor storage dings. Hotchkiss percussion fuse intact and perfect. Iron has a dark, smooth patina. No pitting!
