Wood block drilled for two paper time fuses and wrapped in paper. These are the time fuses that were placed in an artillery shell fuse adapter to time the explosion of the shell. Package has been opened, with top torn off and cloth tear-strips missing. Paper at bottom also punched through when someone wanted to get fuses out to examine them. The two fuses are intact and in exceptional condition. One of the graduated fuses is for 25-seconds, the other is a 30-second fuse. Fuses can be removed from block and would be great for any Civil War artillery display.
