Made of tin with a rubberized fabric cover, this cannon muzzle cover is for sealing the bore of the gun to prevent moisture and other debris from entering the tube. Fabric is held to body by brass rivets which encircle an iron ring. Leather strap with iron roller buckle is present on side.

Measures 5” in diameter at the top. Very light surface rust is present on tin and iron. Leather has light crazing all over and cracks at area that weaves through the buckle.    [SM]
