This pack of 5-second artillery fuses originates from the Frankford Arsenal and was produced in 1864. The pack is constructed of a drilled wood block covered with a paper label. This paper covering is complete and the cloth tear strips remain. The paper is a faded orange. All 5 fuses remain undisturbed inside. The pack is wrapped in cling film and appears complete and clean with printed label and instructions clear. There is a small tear on the bottom and one on the back, otherwise very good condition.   [jet]
