This projectile would have been fired by a 3 inch gun. The most common Hotchkiss shell manufactured. Very nice brass Hotchkiss paper time fuse adapter. Lead band sabot intact. Three flame grooves cut into projectile. Has remains of an old paper time label. Number “92” painted on projectible by label. [ws]
