Small pocket testament printed by The American Bible Society and dated 1861 The exterior has the usual thin leather cover with slip for holding a flap that has torn off and is missing. The bottom front corner of the cover and the first 17 pages are slightly curled and there is some wear to the edges of the spine. There is a name written in period pencil on the front page that looks to read “MELVIN H. FULLER, GLOVERVILLE, N.Y.” There is another name written on the next page in a fair hand that reads “C. K. HERRIN” with either 1863 or 1868. The interior of the book is in good condition.
