Book title is “U-BOATS IN ACTION 1939-1945” by B. Herzog. This hardcover book runs approx. 2.56 pages and contains over 450 black and white photographs of U-Boats in action during World War Two. The book was published in 1970 and has text in both German and English. The original dust jacket has some light wear on edges and a 0.75 inch tear on one side of spine at top. The interior is clean and in good condition.
This book discusses U-Boat types and lists all U-Boats as assigned to flotillas. Picture after picture shows U-Boats both inside and out and in action as well as in port. There are also many shots of crew members.
This is an excellent book for those interested in German U-Boats or submarines and World War Two in general.
