Exhibits light to moderate wear at the extremities. Front hinges lightly cracking, but solid. Else VG with tight spines and clean text. Horace Greeley was the famed editor of the New York Tribune who later ran as the 1872 Democratic Party candidate for President, losing to U.S. Grant. An attractive set, seldom seen in full calf in such good condition.
