By John W. Forney, copyrighted 1880 and published by: HUBBARD BROS, Philadelphia, Pa. A 502 page volume detailing the LIFE AND MILITARY CARREER OF WINFIELD SCOTT HANCOCK AND THE HON. WILLIAM H. ENGLISH. Also Included are steel plate engravings. The titles (located on the spine and cover) are in gilt lettering pressed into an indigo colored cloth covered board. Overall measurements of this book are 8”X 5 ¼” X 1 ¾”. Spine and cover are still tight, some light abrasions are present at the top and bottom of the spine. Pages are off white in color, without foxing.
