By Lyon Gardiner Tyler. Published by Lyon G. Tyler. Third Edition, November 21, 1929. Wraps, 12 pp. Beige paper, 6 x 3”, black cover trim & lettering. Exhibits slight wear, else VG. Author John Gardiner Tyler was the 14th and last child of President John Tyler, 1841-45. He also revived William & Mary College in the 1880s and became its president for next thirty years. At the time of the 1909 Lincoln centennial he became incensed by a magazine piece referring to his presidential father as a dwarf when compared to Lincoln. From that point he became a prominent of the anti-Lincoln, pro-Confederate commentarial establishment. This slender pamphlet sums it up. In protective cover.
