Slender memoir of soldier captured at Gettysburg [sent to parole camp at Westchester, PA], and again in the Wilderness, May 6, 1864. Sent this time to Andersonville and the Florence, S.C. stockade. Consists of paragraph length anecdotes with title such as, “Men I Saw Die”, “Captured Second Time”, “Amputated His Own Feet”. Graphic POW stuff. In protective cover.
