Hardcover book with printed dust jacket in fair to good condition. Jacket has chip off top of spine affecting the first word in the title. Edges have light to moderate surface dirt. Back cover has dark stain along bottom at front corner and front cover is missing 5.50 inches of the top edge.
The volume meas. approx. 8.75 x 11.25 inches and runs 496 pages. Volume is tightly bound and profusely illustrated. Inside front cover has a wedding anniversary inscription from 1968. Page edges are browning a bit. A very good readable copy.
Published in 1953 this is THE book on powder flasks and their use. [ad]
