The title of this book is “THE LONE STAR DEFENDERS: A CHRONICLE OF THE THIRD TEXAS CAVALRY, ROSS’ BRIGADE” by S. B.  Barron who was a member of the regiment. Originally published in 1908 this 1964 reprint was a limited run published by W. M. Morris of Waco, Texas.

Hardcover volume in green cloth with title embossed in gold on the cover and spine. No dust jacket. Covers are clean and show little if any wear.

Interior is bright and clean.

Runs 276 pages with 10 black and white illustrations of members of the regiment and one woodcut of the regimental flag.
