Set is in like new condition. It is a 1988 reprint of the 1875 original by Thomas B. Van Horne who served as Chaplain of the 13th Ohio and post chaplain at Chattanooga. This Broadfoot reprint has a new introduction by Peter Cozzens and maps by the late Blake Magner.
Each hardcover volume is nicely bound in red cloth with the title strongly embossed on the spine in gold. Front cover combines the badges of the 4th, 14th and 20th Corps in gold.
Volume 1 meas. approx. 6.25 x 9.25 inches and runs approx. 454 pages while volume 2 measures the same and runs 478 pages with index.
Interior is bright and clean with 26 maps. [ad]
