Very nice, like new condition 1984 reprint of the 1892 classic “ARMY OF NORTHERN VIRGINIA IN 1862” by William Allan who served as Chief Ordnance Officer of the 2nd Corps, of the Army of Northern Virginia.

Book is nicely bound in gray cloth with a brown imitation leather spine. Confederate flags in full color are embossed on the front with the title strongly embossed on the spine in gold with the author’s name and publisher.

Volume meas. approx. 6.25 x 8.75 inches and runs approx. 537 pages with index.

Interior is bright and clean with several foldout color maps.

Volume covers from Yorktown in May of 1862 to Fredericksburg in December of 1862.
