Very attractive set in like new condition. This 1988 reprint of the classic 1915 “THE LONG ARM OF LEE” by Jennings Cropper Wise is arranged in two volumes with the first bearing an autograph of Gary W. Gallagher who wrote the introduction.
Each hardcover volume is nicely bound in red cloth with the title strongly embossed on the front cover and spine in gold.
Volume 1 meas. approx. 6.25 x 9.25 inches and runs approx. 496 pages while volume 2 measures the same and runs through page 995 with index.
Interior is bright and clean with several illustrations.
Dust jackets are present on both volumes and are in excellent condition.
This is the standard authoritative study of Lee’s artillery arm. [ad]
