Exhibits light wear at the extremities, moderate foxing of endpapers and light water staining of rear end papers upper edges. Else VG plus, and extremely handsome. Authoritative history of slavery and the slave trade, published on the eve of the Civil War. Scarce. Extremely rare in such good condition. Fine collectible.  [JP]
