The book meas. approx. 7.50 x 9.00 inches. Leather exterior shows edge wear and numerous rub marks. Binding is very good.

Title runs 1103 pages. Endpapers are marbled as are the page edges. Interior has light surface dirt from age and storage.

Front edge has brass clips to hold the volume closed.

Immanuel Gottlieb Brastberger was a Protestant theologian in Germany who died in 1764. He is widely known by his ascetical writings, which to this day are household works in German Christendom. He wrote, Protestant Testimonies of Truth to Cheer in True Christianity, etc. (Keutlingen, 1870-72, 83d ed.): — The Order of Salvation, Or the Penance to God, And the Faith in Our Lord, Jesus Christ (latest ed. 1857).  [ad]
