Hardbound volume covered in green cloth. Covers are decorated with a stippled background with a checkerboard at center. Spine is excellent and has the title in gold stamping with a checkerboard below it and with scrollwork decorations interspersed.

Volume meas. approx. 3.50 x 5.00 inches and runs 277 pages. The book was printed in Philadelphia in 1864. Inside front cover is owners name and 1870 date. Inside back cover is a full figured drawing of a woman. Interior pages are very clean and bright.

This book gives the rules for 45 different games such as whist, casino, cribbage, pharo, euchre, snip snap snore ‘em, chess, back gammon, dominos and many others.
