Hardcover volume covered in blue cloth in overall very nice clean condition. The book was originally published in 1950 but this is the 2nd edition published in 1966 by the New York Historical Society.

The authors, William Louis Calver and Reginald Pelham Bolton, visited various Revolutionary War battle and campsites in New York state and with a pick and shovel dug for artifacts. This book shows their finds with many black & white photographs. The book shows numerous buttons, plates, bullets molds and insignia recovered by the authors.

Volume meas. approx. 6.00 x 9.00 inches and runs approx. 320 pages.

Exterior is clean with the title in bold gold ink on the spine.
