Owner inscription in ink., front eps—“Cadet C.C. Miller.” 138 pp. text, 150pp. tables of logarithms of numbers. In purple glazed cloth, 6” x 9, w/glit lettering. Exhibits light wear at the extremities. Covers and spine considerably faded, though solid and tight. Contain numerous notations in pencil & ink. Text light lightly yellowed but entirely legible.

Charles Crenshaw Miller, a native of Chalk Level, Pittsylvania Country, VA, was born July 31, 1851 entered VMI in August 1867, and was dropped from the rolls in September 1869.
