COPY OF THE 155TH PENNSYLVANIA REGIMENTAL HISTORY

$165.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 34-70

The exterior of this book is in good condition. Covers have moderate wear with a transparent white stain on much of the back. Embossed in gold across the front cover is “UNDER THE MALTESE CROSS: ANTIETAM TO APPOMATTOX, CAMPAIGNS OF THE 155TH PENNSYLVANIA VOLUNTEERS” with a standing Zouave and a 1st Division, 5th Corps badge. The badge is worn and missing most of its red coloring. The covers are solid and holding well. There is some light scuffing on the spine and the lettering in this area has faded. The title runs 817 pages with roster but no index. This volume is PROFUSELY illustrated with both wartime and post-war photos of many members of the regiment.  Inside the front cover is a bold signature in ink that reads “WITH COMPLIMENTS OF CHARLES F. MC KENNA, EDITOR COMPILER.” The interior of the book is very good and clean.

Throughout its service the 155th Pennsylvania was part of the 5th Corps in the Army of the Potomac.
