A very fine example of a late Colonial or early Federal period free blown glass storage jar with an olive green tint. Usually a piece of parchment was tied around the top. Measures 9 1/2” tall, base is approx. 3 ½” in diameter. Body narrows slightly at top then widens to 4” across at the lip. No cracks or noticeable scratches.
