A nice example of a classic Civil War black glass beer or ale bottle. Imported in large numbers from England by businesses of both the Northern and Southern states.  Stands 8 ½” tall and diameter of base is 2 1/2”.  Very fine condition; 2 small chips on lip.   [ld]
