A classic example of a Civil War era whiskey bottle. Examples like this are often found at Civil War sites in a wide range of colors. Nice dark olive color.  Stands 11 ¾” tall and diameter of base is 3 ¼”.  Very fine condition. Bottle is embossed on the bottom with, “HOCHSTADTER CO. BITTER LEIPZIGR BURGUNDER WEIN OUTER”.  [SM]
