This coat sized button is Tice #NA241A1 and is in like new condition. The face has a very crisp stamping of a star at center surrounded by four holes each with a thin raised rim. Around the edge of the button is “U.S.N.” with two stars and an anchor. All markings are sharp.
The reverse has raised lettering that reads “NOVELTY RUBBER CO / GOODYEAR’S” in two lines above the button holes and “PATENT 1851” in two lines below the button holes.
