This non-dug two piece coat button has a semi-bright face with little gilt remaining. It has clear details on the state seal. There are no cracks or breaks or dents.
The reverse has the complete shank and a raised maker’s mark in a depressed channel that reads “SCOVILL MF’G. CO. WATERBURY” between two stars.
