$175.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 801-299

This is an excavated coat-sized button with a face that consists of a large block letter “A” on a plain field. The brass face is free of dings and dents and has a dark brown patina. The “A” stands out very nicely. The button back was made of tin with a brass wire shank, all of which is intact, with the exception of one small hole in the tin backing. The back does exhibit heavy rusting typical of an excavated button. The place of recovery is not known. [jet]
