Three piece, high convex coat size button.  Depicts the state seal of Michigan, an elk, moose and an eagle, with a hunter inside the shield, intended for officers of Michigan militia units. BM:  "EXTRA * QUALITY *" between two rings of dots. Albert's MG4, Tice's MG205A5.  Beautiful gilt patina, shank present & straight.
