(Tice MS302A1, Albert’s MS39) Excellent condition button. Face has raised arm with sword on a plain field surrounded by “MASS. VOLUNTEER MILITIA” with a letter “I” for infantry in the crook of the arm. This is a two piece button. Shank is good. Back also has a depressed mark that reads “D. EVEANS & CO/ATTLEBORO, MASS.” These buttons are made to specifications of December 1865 and all post-date the war.
