This archivally framed limited edition print painted by artist Mort Kunstler measures 36” x 26.25”. Overall excellent condition. Does NOT have an accompanying artist signed COA. Print is signed and number 234/1500.
This print is fourth in a Series of Six Limited Edition Prints in the Official Killer Angels Portfolio. This scene in this print is set on the grounds of the Lutheran Seminary west of Gettysburg, and features Gen. J. Buford on July 1, 1863, 5:15 a.m. We see Buford riding his black horse followed by his headquarters flag. Closer to the viewer in the foreground is the bugler in the yellow striped jacket, followed by the rest of his staff coming out of the mist. We are looking at the west side of the Seminary. [ld]
