The Valley Bank's charter was approved on Mar. 10, 1848 and the bank went into receivership in 1856. These $10 notes were engraved and imprinted by Rawdon, Wright, Hatch & Edson, New York. No. 1206. Dated April 1, 1856. Large “TEN” in red overlay. Features Ceres, Farmer and wife, Minerva at right.
