The face of this bill shows horse drawn artillery at center with a bust portrait of Confederate Secretary of State R. M. T. Hunter. Bill is numbered 312040. Bill is white with reddish overprint. Reverse has an intricate blue back with the word “TEN” in large letters and a medallion with a “10” at center in each corner. Bill has moderate surface dirt and foxing on both sides. There are also some faint fold lines.
