The face of this bill shows the Confederate capitol building in Richmond at center with a bust portrait of Confederate Secretary of the Treasury Christopher G. Memminger. Far right side has “1st SERIES.” Bill is lettered “G” and numbered 35818. Bill is white with reddish overprint. Reverse has an intricate blue back with the word “FIVE” in large letters and a medallion with a “5” at center on each corner. Bill has moderate surface dirt throughout with some faint fold lines.
