Bill is in excellent condition and is not cut canceled. Cut unevenly along top edge. Engraving is done in black with reddish-brown overlay. Central design is horse drawn artillery piece. Lower right corner is portrait of R. M. T. Hunter. Back is decorated in blue ink with “TEN” in large letters. Each corner also has a small medallion with “10” in center. Bill is from 9th Series and marked E; serial number is 18933. Dated February 17^th, 1864. Printed by Evans & Cogswell.
