Central artwork is a large ship under full sail with flag atop center mast. Left border has a sailor standing by a capstan. Note is from Series B and is numbered 3608 in red ink.. Item has not been cut canceled. Dated September 2, 1861. Back is blank. Cut unevenly along bottom edge; shows some wear along top edge. Fair to good condition; minor crease at upper right corner, slight scattered staining throughout.
