This group contains four Indian-head pennies, a patriotic token, and a letter envelope.  The envelope is post-Civil War (1868 or later), addressed to New York state, was postmarked in New Orleans, and has a three-cent stamp. Only the front of the envelope remains the back having been removed.  Accompanying the envelope are four pennies, dated 1862, 1863, 1864, and 1865. The final piece is a Civil War patriotic token bearing an American flag and reading, “THE FLAG OF OUR UNION”. The reverse has been polished smooth and has the initials “A H” added.
