Late war bond issued from the Confederate Capital at Richmond, Virginia. The bond is dated February 20, 1865 and is number 20493. The center design is a bust view of Stonewall Jackson. The printer of this bond is Archer & Daly, Richmond. At the bottom are 7 coupons. The first was redeemable July 1, 1865 and the last on July 1, 1868. Embossed seal is present at the left center. Bond is in good condition and all ink inscriptions are readable.  [sm]
