Mid war bond issued from the Confederate Capital at Richmond, Virginia. The bond is dated February 20, 1863 and is number 11004. The center design is a Confederate officer leaning against a tree. The printer of this bond is Archer & Daly of Richmond. At the bottom are 10 coupons. The first was redeemable January 1, 1864 and the last on July 1, 1868. Approx. 33,000 of these bonds were issued. Bond is in good condition and all ink inscriptions are readable. Bond is printed on pink paper. [ad]
