Twenty-five cent note from the State of Florida dated February 2, 1863.  No serial number. Printed in three colors; black, blue, and red. Signatures in ink. Wrinkled with several small holes.

Paper was such a scarce commodity during the war that unused, previously printed items were often reused by printing on the blank reverse. The sheet was usually turned 90-degrees so only a portion of the first print is visible on the reused sheet.

Reverse shows a wonderful example of this with several coupons for interest from a state bond displayed. Coupons numbered in red.
