This bill is number T65 in Criswell’s “CONFEDERATE AND SOUTHERN STATES CURRENCY.” Item is in very good condition. Face is black with reddish overprint. At front center is a drawing of Lucy Pickens in profile flanked by two Confederate soldiers and a portrait of George Randolph. The bill is marked “SERIES I” and is numbered 30163. Reverse has blue printing of the word “HUNDRED” with a medallion in each corner with the number “100.” Printed by Keating & Ball of Columbia, South Carolina. Overall good condition; light to moderate soiling throughout, most noticeably on the reverse.  A few areas of wear along edges & corners.
