This bill is number T65 in Criswell’s “CONFEDERATE AND SOUTHERN STATES CURRENCY.” Item is in very good condition. Face is black with reddish overprint. At front center is a drawing of Lucy Pickens in profile flanked by two Confederate soldiers and a portrait of George Randolph. The bill is marked “SERIES I” and is numbered 56927.  Intricate blue back has a large “HUNDRED” at the center, with a medallion in each corner with the number “100.” Printed by Keating & Ball of Columbia, South Carolina. Overall good condition; two areas of light to moderate staining.  Also has a few minor creases along left & right edges.
