White rectangular card measuring 2.125 x 3.5”, with embossed “Winfield Scott” & “USA” on riband below spread eagle. Originally gilt, the letterings have faded nearly to white. Else VG, with slight soiling. Fine memento of “Old Fuss and Feathers” Scott, 1852 Whig presidential candidate and one of the two major commanders of the Mexican War—[the other being Zachary Taylor].
