These pages from an official government atlas feature three maps of the defenses at Louisville, Camp Nelson and Munfordville in Kentucky.  The Baylor University description reads:

“Louisville and its Defenses -- Defenses of Camp Nelson, Ky. Main line across neck of land from Kentucky River to Hickman Creek. Constructed under direction of Lieut. Col. J.H. Simpson, Corps Eng's. Commenced by Capt. O.M. Poe, Corps Engs. Finished by J.R. Gilliss, Asst. U.S. Eng. Surveyed and drawn by Geo. B. Nicholson, August 1864 -- Defenses of Munfordville, Ky. Fortifications constructed under Capt. M.D. McAlester, Corps Engrs. U.S.A., Chief Engr. Dpt. Ohio, and subsequently under Maj. J.H. Simpson, Chief Engr. Dept. Ohio, by Lieut. Asa W. Slayton, 25th Reg. Mich. Infty.. 1863 -- Created by Phillips, Nicholson, Simpson, Slayton”

The map is labeled Plate CII, from the Atlas to Accompany the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies from 1861 to 1865, originally published in 1891. The Atlas to Accompany the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies (also referred to as the War of the Rebellion Atlas) was published as a companion piece to the Official Records of the American Civil War. It contains maps and other images derived from materials generated by both Union and Confederate military personnel during the American Civil War.

The pages measure 29.25” long by 18.5” wide. In good condition with chipped top corners.
